DKA 03:36
Are you saving up, Your coupon clippers sharp? Your body's needs are cash You're gonna cough it up 'Cause if you cannot pay You'll go like Alec Who lost his steady drip We pulled the plug out But what's DKA? (It's shit) I hope I live to see a raise So I can change my blood's pH Are you one of us, Your birth a conscious choice? Because we draw the lines We like you lining up And if you cannot be You'll go like Jimmy Who'd never seen that place We sent his body back But what's DKA? (It's shit) I hope I live to see a raise So I can change my blood's pH

Appetite 02:37
I could feed your appetite We could have some awesome times I could feed your appetite Upset, excite, energize Bathed in light Grab the fruit Take a bite Get the boot Peel your eyes Steel your mind Everything Intertwined I could feed your appetite We could have some awesome times I could feed your appetite Upset, excite, energize Drenched in sweat Grab a slice Burn your mouth Tastes so nice Peel your eyes Steel your mind Everything Intertwined I could feed your appetite We could have some awesome times I could feed your appetite Upset, excite, energize

Brown 02:44
What’d you try to say it was? Went in one ear, then was crushed Didn’t think it meant too much What’d you try to say it was? Memory serves the highers up Rent has got us down Loans have got us down Jobs have got us down Something smells of brown ‘Cause green is turning brown Blue is turning brown Brown is super brown Milk and drink it down What’d you try to say it was? Why can’t you pick yourself up? Cops have got us down Judges got us down Nazis got us down Something smells of brown ‘Cause green is turning brown Blue is turning brown Brown is super brown Milk and drink it down What’d you try to say it was? Boss is honest, kids are dumb Frogs have got us down Boils have got us down Plague has got us down Darkness dark like brown ‘Cause green is turning brown Blue is turning brown Brown is super brown Milk and drink it down

Evergreen 02:53
I tried to find it cheaper They say the market knows But no one else can make it Guess that’s the way it goes ‘Cause it’s changed somehow, I guess? It’s evergreen My pharmacist informed me There’s nothing they can do “The writing’s on the wall man, We’ve got to turn the screw But here’s a one-time coupon That you could give a try” Just like the chips and cleaners, A consolation prize ‘Cause it’s changed somehow, I guess? It’s evergreen Change Such a fresh coat of paint makes it feel new Such a fresh, lovely scent makes it be new Poor Jonathan on line one Relays what’s been approved “The protocols and flow charts Know what’s the best for you We thank you for your business We’ve got your needs in mind” Be sure to read the fine print Who knows just what you’ll find

It’s not to taste Who doesn’t have time to waste? So tell us who’s the bestest band Explain it till we understand You can have what you want But you might get filtered out It’s not to taste We use words to get it straight You can choose from this or that You can even send it back You can have what you want But you might get filtered out Asked and answered Drearily you opine, shit, too fucked to think Babble, dabble, grabble Bad decisions Drearily you opine, shit, too fucked to think Babble, dabble, prostrate, switch Opine, shit, too fucked to think Babble, dabble, grabble, amaze It’s not to taste Pickled ginger shouldn’t sate Sometimes you just read the sign You must be this tall to ride You can have what you want But you might get filtered out Asked and answered Drearily you opine, shit, too fucked to think Babble, dabble, grabble Bad decisions Drearily you opine, shit, too fucked to think Babble, dabble, prostrate, switch Opine, shit, too fucked to think Babble, dabble, grabble, shit

Plucked 03:18
Head thrown back Past erased How? I thought I was pulling strings But now, are something’s digits plucking me? Copy of a copy of a copy of a Backup of a backup of a backup of a Copy of a copy of a copy of a Backup of a backup of a backup of a Minds exchanged I’ll ascend Now I can touch what’s really real And now I’ll make that fucker fucking squeal How? I thought I was pulling strings But now, are something’s digits plucking me?

Miles Away 05:20
Poor kid was feeling sure By now they’d have a cure With excuses so immac Each dream is sliding back I can feel the sun even when it rains Juices up the shit Miles away, miles to change, miles With a pinch of salt A garden, get thee to a garden We could plant a garden When you’re sad you garden Get thee to a garden We could plant a garden When you’re sad you garden Get thee to a garden Whole thing is in the pits Lawmaker called it quits Reach to the sky Fat cat purse been hoisted high I can feel the sun even when it rains Juices up the shit Miles away, miles to change, miles With a pinch of salt For once in my life thought I saw Thought I’d seen something happening Miles of shit To change the world What if leaders hugged it out? What if they all smoked some weed? Happening, something’s happening So they pass the crown Spice up granddad’s mane Such a pretty crown Nothing gonna change

I stumbled down the aisle Mind was somewhere else Slumped into a window seat and tried to look a mess Before long the train was off And I got my wish No stranger close enough to even exist Sometime later I awoke Body on the floor Must have stashed it somewhere, sometime in the intervening hour Saw two men looking down One man pushing hard I guess the other saw my pump and said to stop You should have known You should have known We’d kick, we’d swing Our limbs are long, go on and on, yeah You should have known You should have known We’d kick, we’d swing Our limbs are long, go on and on Fill the air, fill the air yeah So the older, nicer guy Brought the juice box, icepack “Knew another guy with one of these, Is this enough?” Stars ‘round my head I said “yes, thanks, Didn’t want to cause a scene” Tough one wrote me up in the Passive voice

about

100 is a loose concept album based around drummer-vocalist Farley Miller's experience with type 1 diabetes. The title is a reference to 100 mg/dL, the ideal amount of sugar in a person's blood.

Here's what the people are saying:

"100 is an urgent, nerve-jangling blast of off-kilter noise, and most certainly one of DIY culture’s flagship releases of 2023."
— Sun|13

"An unpredictable tour de force of nervous noise, technical musicianship, and startling hooks... It’s refreshing to see such pointedly personal and political lyrics on a math rock record — by album’s end, you feel like you’re sharing in the artistic catharsis and intimate frustration that animate the songwriting and performances."
— Post-Trash

"'Pickled Ginger' finds the band at their most nervy and intense... The track’s math rock pulse lends it a jagged, experimental edge, with the band careening through the track in a blaze of buzzsaw guitars and dizzying drum work. Yet, those intricacies resolve seamlessly into catharsis, delivering a raucous shout-along chorus that tempers the heady experimentalism with an emotive release."
— Under the Radar

"Oakland-based Feefawfum has unleashed another rip-roaring expulsion of noise rock with “DKA,” a brand-new single that fiercely contends with the consequences of profit-driven healthcare... Against shrieking guitars and pummeling drums, Feefawfum rages against this reality. Bending their madcap sonics and indomitable will toward placing a searing spotlight on the blatant inequities that plague our society."
— Grimy Goods

"'DKA' proves commanding in its evolution from quaint guitars into propulsive rhythms, with the chaotically gripping vocal rise during the bridge culminating in the... anthemic chorus; it’s a fierce, riveting production with a timely thematic prowess."
— Obscure Sound
